Join Our Ultrasound Department!We are seeking top talent to join our team, offering highly competitive wages with increased starting rates based on experience, shift differentials, frequent salary increases, and routine range adjustments.Summary:As a key member of our team, you will operate diagnostic sonography equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department policies and procedures. You will work within the Practice Standards and Code of Ethics of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, collaborating with physicians to perform a variety of specialized procedures.
  • Set up and adjust equipment to perform diagnostic procedures
  • Gain knowledge of imaging various anatomical structures
  • Position patients to obtain images of the area of interest, ensuring patient comfort
  • Obtain appropriate patient information for the procedure
  • Utilize PPE and other guidelines as needed
  • Recognize and respond to emergent situations
  • Assist other areas and shifts as needed
Education:Satisfactory completion of formal technology training is required.License/Certification:Must be registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in ultrasound (ARRT ultrasound) and obtain valid certification within 12 months of graduation from an approved ultrasound training program or completion of approved cross-training. Advanced certifications are encouraged. CPR Certification is also required.Experience:Previous experience in ultrasound is preferred but not required. Experience in a similar role is also acceptable.Other Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., 100 lbs. shared lifting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of general computer skills and applications
  • Ability to take call
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills
