Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $14 - $14 / hour.*What you'll be doing as a Sorter:
- Clean and maintain recycling yard and collection equipment
- Safely remove chemicals from discarded appliances
- Deposit recoverable materials into chutes or place them on conveyor belts
- Operate balers to compress recyclable materials into bundles or bales
- Use machines to load items onto trucks for shipment to other recycling facilities
Available shifts:Shift Timings: All AvailableJob requirements:
- Prior experience in recycling yard preferred
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and reach, bend, push, pull, and climb
- Flexibility to work in all weather conditions
- Able to remain in a stationary position for up to 10 hours
