Sourcing Lead - Insight Global : Job Details

The openings span 3 specialized sourcing categories that have the same reporting structure but operate independently – (1) software (2) infrastructure/telecom (3) professional services. We are looking for candidates coming from an enterprise background and that have experience negotiating terms with enterprise vendors (Microsoft, Google, AWS, Palo Alto, Cisco, Oracle, IBM, Deloitte, EY, etc.). For each respective category, the right candidate should have a strong technical expertise so that they can effectively negotiate contract terms with knowledge of the risk to the business. All candidates must also have some experience with cloud.

Logistics for all openings:

Infrastructure Sourcing Lead

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure sourcing (vendor selection, cost management, negotiations, procurement excellence, etc.)
• Extensive experience driving E2E negotiations of multimillion dollar IT contracts in an enterprise environment
• Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure products and vendors (telecom, cloud storage/servers)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field

Software Sourcing Lead

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in software sourcing (vendor selection, cost management, negotiations, procurement excellence, etc.)
• Extensive experience driving E2E negotiations of multimillion dollar IT contracts in an enterprise environment (SaaS agreements, software licensing agreements)
• Strong technical knowledge of software products and vendors (SaaS, cloud)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field

Professional Services Sourcing Lead

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in IT professional services sourcing (vendor selection, cost management, negotiations, procurement excellence, etc.)
• Experience driving E2E negotiations of multimillion dollar IT professional services contracts with vendors such as EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.
• Extensive stakeholder management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking an Infrastructure Sourcing Lead to join the IT Sourcing team of a leading hospital system in New York. This person will be responsible for prioritizing and driving contract negotiations of multimillion dollar infrastructure contracts in direct support of the Medical Center Information Technology (MCIT) organization. Responsibilities will include collaborating with MCIT stakeholders to understand current and future needs in their respective areas and leading end-to-end, large, infrastructure sourcing projects, leveraging the “7 Step Strategic Sourcing Process”. They will also identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key Infrastructure vendors and conduct regular performance reviews and collaborate with suppliers to optimize service delivery and cost-effectiveness. They will lead commercial and contractual negotiations for infrastructure sourcing projects and provide subject matter expertise on technology contracts and terms including Master Framework Agreements, Software License Agreements (including SaaS, EA), Maintenance and Support Agreements, Product Agreements, IT PS Agreements, etc. to formulate strategic recommendations that deliver maximum value and achieve the best outcomes for the organization. On a regular basis, they will be expected to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates on sourcing initiatives and performance, as well as participate actively in shaping policies, processes, workflows, and system design and configuration discussions. This candidate must have strong technical expertise in infrastructure products/services, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills, as they will regularly interact with C-Suite IT stakeholders.
