This position is HYBRID-ELIGIBLE out of Tucker, GA or Minneapolis, MN (HQ) locations.
Job Purpose
Support the Sourcing team in optimizing procurement processes and maintaining a robust supply chain that meets the companys quality standards. Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and relationship management, ensuring sourcing strategies align with the companys goals and objectives.
Essential Functions
- Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with organizational objectives
- Analyze purchasing data and market trends to assist in strategic decision-making and recommend cost-effective sourcing options
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and market insights, enabling data-driven decision-making
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, finance, and logistics to ensure that sourcing decisions are informed by accurate data
- Investigate issues, find root cause, and develop solutions
- Assist with other supply chain analysis and initiatives as required
- Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
- Bachelor's degree in a business or supply chain related discipline and/or 3 equivalent years of experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel; experience with ERP Systems, SAP preferred
- Familiarity with supplier management and negotiation processes
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel as well as suppliers, customers, and their representatives
- Ability to work cross-functionally, convey complex issues, and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think quickly and handle frequent change
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
