Every five hours a Pennsylvanian is lost to gun violence because our legislators fail to enact life-saving legislation. As the Commonwealths leading gun violence prevention advocacy organization, CeaseFirePA is hiring an organizer to expand our grassroots network, deepen our coalitions and hold elected officials accountable in Northeast Philadelphia and Bucks County to end this epidemic.
Most Pennsylvanians support life-saving gun safety laws, but too many elected officials continue to ignore demands for action. Our Northeast Philadelphia and Bucks County Organizer will help build the necessary power in the region to enact our and other critical policies.
As a vital member of CeaseFirePAs Organizing Team, the Organizer will:

LOCATION: Greater Philadelphia area with a strong preference for someone who lives in or has strong ties to Northeast Philadelphia and/or Bucks County. **Must have own car and be willing to drive.
COMPENSATION: $40,000-$45,000 (or hourly equivalent) based on experience. As a full-time position, the organizer is eligible for our excellent benefits package including full-covered health care, paid time off, and 401(k).
