BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree (Masters preferred) in systems, aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or an equivalent degree in STEM+5 years in a directly relevant roleExpert-level knowledge and understanding of the different technologies required to design, deploy, operate, and replenish a space systemProven track record of systems-level thinking and approach to problem-solvingExpertise in architecting, defending, and seeking alignment on systems-level requirements and flow down to subsystems, keeping in mind design for manufacturing/design for integration and testExpertise in performing trade studies for and designing, integrating, and testing mechanical, electrical, and software systems Expertise in leading technical discussions through PDR (preliminary design review), CDR (critical design review), and FRR (flight readiness review)Experience in the full end-to-end cycle of space system design, through manufacturing and AIT (Assembly, Integration, & Test), and up to spacecraft readiness for shipment to launch baseStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a mustAbility and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environmentMust be available to work extended hours and weekends when specific highly critical events dictate as neededPassion for creating state-of-the-art space systemsSTRONGLY DESIRED+10 years of directly relevant experienceExperience through launch base operations and in-orbit testingInterested in hearing more?
