The Chace People team has been instructed to work on an unparalleled opportunity for a passionate Baby Nurse/Newborn Care Specialist to join a dynamic, ultra-high net worth family's childcare team.
Job Overview:
As a seasoned Baby Nurse, you will provide essential care and support to the newborn baby, either during the day or overnight, depending on your shift, offering some weekend cover (on rotation). Collaborating with the existing household team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of the baby - you will be committed to maintaining a nurturing and secure environment for the newborn. This role demands proficiency in both Spanish and English.
Requirements:
- To meet the responsibilities of this role, candidates must speak Spanish and English.
- Prior experience in providing care for newborns and infants.
- Ability to work day and night shifts (4/5 shifts per week), with flexibility to cover some weekends.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the baby and household.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a private household setting.
- Comfort in working closely with the mother and a wider childcare team.
- Coordination with fellow team members for seamless schedule management.
- A meticulous and proactive approach, radiating positivity.
- Drivers are required holding a full US driving license and with the confidence to drive a range of family vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to the newborn baby, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being during your assigned shift.
- Collaborate with the existing household team to maintain a consistent care routine.
- Attend to the baby's needs, including feeding, changing, and comforting as required.
- Maintain a nurturing and secure environment in the baby's room.
- Communicate effectively with other caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
- Travelling (both domestic and internationally) with the family; packing for the child and organising activities pre- and during travel
This is a FTC 2 year position and a complete package (including medical, holidays and sick pay) will be provided.
