**Education Qualifications:**

Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Healthcare Administration

**Experience:**

+ Five years of experience in a healthcare or financial setting, with a focus on strategic planning, financial operations, or process improvement.

**Job Profile Summary:**

The Special Assistant to the CFO works closely with senior financial leaders to support the development and execution of strategic financial plans, process improvements, and operational efficiencies. This role builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders, synthesizing complex financial and operational information into actionable plans that drive success. The position requires excellent communication, financial acumen, and project management skills to assist in implementing strategies that support Essentia Health's mission and financial goals.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Collaborate with the CFO and financial leadership team to develop and implement strategic financial initiatives.

+ Partner with operational leaders to support financial planning, business development, and performance improvement.

+ Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial reports, operational updates, and strategic plans to the board, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.

+ Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for efficiency and resource optimization.

+ Support the CFO in managing organizational goals, including tracking progress and aligning departmental initiatives with overall strategy.

+ Synthesize financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.

+ Act as a liaison between the finance team and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.
