ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, giving directions, signing up new Infinity Rewards members, supporting marketing initiatives and solicit interest and sign-ups for casino events.• Help with loading and opening boxes, making sure they are in good condition and proper amount is issued.• Check ID and player's cards.• Observe gaming activity and relay security concerns to appropriate personnel.• Using a computer, perform event management, as well as score tournaments.• Help set-up and run all Casino events and special promotions within department.• Relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, Hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc.• Move throughout the casino floor at a speed sufficient to satisfy customer needs.• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules that reflect the business needs of the property.QUALIFICATIONSCasino/Hotel experience is a plus. Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a track record of performing each essential responsibility satisfactorily.EDUCATIONAny combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.LANGUAGE SKILLSExcellent communication skills both written and oral. Must possess interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and employees at all levels of the company. Must possess a strong attention to detail. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers, and general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to create and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions through decisive judgment. Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.OTHER QUALIFICATIONSMust be a minimum of 21 years of age. Champion of Customer Service and building positive team spirit. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
