Job Description:Position Summary:Responsible for managing material requirements through SAP MRP with timely and accurate planning to support dynamic plant production.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and escalate any significant supplier delivery issues to manager, so plant production is not interrupted.
  • SAP transactions for posting accurate Inventory adjustments
  • Communicate and collaborate internally at Cooper Standard New Lexington across all departments effected by Inventory discrepancies
  • Work with Cycle Counting and Records Integrity to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Be prepared to assist the rest of the Production Control department in activities as required.
  • Manage inventory to achieve department inventory KPIs.
  • Daily tasks will include a high level of involvement in planning procedures and awareness of general business levels and trends to allow successful job performance.
  • May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description. Performs other related duties.
Education and Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree in Supply Chain or Business-Related Field. 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
  • Preferred SAP experience.
  • Computer literate, working knowledge of Windows programs and web-based applications.
Work Environment/Work Conditions:
  • Office setting with daily exposure to the production floor.
  • Personal Protective Equipment is required on production floor.
  • Flexible Hours to accommodate Business Needs - Primarily First shift
