Specialist, Maintenance & Reliability

The position reports to the Director of Maintenance and Reliability - Nitrogen & Phosphate as a member of the N&P ETC Maintenance and Reliability Group. It is responsible for providing business analytics and subject matter expertise focused on monitoring and continuously improving the Maintenance and Reliability program. The role provides technical support for Nutrien's Reliability and Maintenance programs, systems, tools, and processes. The role offers process improvement leadership, training, and coaching for Nutrien's manufacturing sites across North America, aligning with Nutrien's Vision and Asset Care Program.

What you will do:

  • Provide work management monitoring and asset care subject matter expertise, continuous improvement mentoring, coaching, and training.
  • Analyze statistical data, interpret site input/results, and make recommendations for action plans of ETC M&R team projects. Work withthe Director of M&R, ETC Groups and site resources to providead-hoc analysis to assess business issues and gain insights for action.
  • Own and steward the ETC M&R Key Performance Indicators and metrics, supporting development, maintenance and use of the metrics, reporting/systems software tools for end-user application (Operations, Risk management, Capacity Utilization, OPIS, PowerBI, OBIEE, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with targets by advisingsite and ETC leaders of short-fall metrics. Reports stats and opportunities to the Director of Maintenance and Reliability, ETC Maintenance and Reliability Team, and individual sites.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with site teams on M&R metric development and enhancements providing input and subject matter expertise on work processes, system transactions, data sources, unified data mapping, calculations, definitions, and validation.
  • Champion and supports Bad Actors and Vulnerabilities risk assessment and mitigation. This may include Root Cause Analysis facilitation, mentoring, or other support.
  • Provides tactical support to assist with implementing improvement strategies and actions.

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or production facility maintenance or reliability or bachelor's degree in engineering (Reliability, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred).
  • High proficiency in data mining and analytics related to manufacturing, production, or maintenance/reliability.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience related to data management, analysis, and reporting required.
  • Knowledge and experience of Maintenance and Reliability best practices, relevant codes, and standards.
  • Competency in Maintenance and Reliability work processes or site experience in a Planner, Scheduler, Gatekeeper/Coordinator, Analyst, or similar role required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to Nutrien's Nitrogen and Phosphate manufacturing facilities.
  • Able to collaborate with ETC M&R Team and site resources effectively and respectfully.
  • Ability to work independently or as a part of a team on projects.
  • Ability to learn, teach and share information with peers, management, and users.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, Excel, PowerBI, SharePoint required.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of SAP, EAM or other CMMS required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and change management experience is an asset.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma is an asset.
  • We will consider hiring at a lower band depending on experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range for the Specialist, Maintenance and Reliability role is $105,300 - $195,600 per year. This range is estimated forSpecialist, Maintenance & Reliabilityunder the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and the Washington Equal Pay & Opportunities Act. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
