Overview:
The Equipment Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining equipment and tools in the module plant. The incumbent also develops, coordinates, and participates in continuous improvement equipment
Responsibilities:
(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- General Maintenance
- Operation of all plant equipment and support production regarding equipment
- Perform and complete daily check sheet.
- Maintain and perform 3R5S in work areas related to maintenance property and equipment.
- Make a list and repair damaged objects regarding equipment
- Preventive Maintenance
- Perform and complete preventive maintenance with SAP work orders
- Perform weekend work plan tasks
- Performs shutdown and holiday work plan tasks
- Make suggestions for improving Preventive Maintenance
- Breakdown Maintenance
- Conduct troubleshooting for equipment problems or breakdowns
- Repair equipment as needed
- Complete downtime log for every downtime event
- Complete trouble report with countermeasure or improvement report
- Planning for Maintenance
- Planning and scheduling daily, weekly, and monthly of shift related equipment
- Planning equipment PM schedules, shutdowns, and repairs related to equipment
- Communication
- Share information for shift change meeting regarding any maintenance daily issue
- Health and Safety
- Maintain Personal Protective Equipment (OSHA and MOBIS Standards)
- Comply with all safety rules and guidance, as well as report all recognized hazard
- Report Results
- Check sheet and 3R5S
- SAP work order, weekend/shutdown/holiday work plan tasks
- Related equipment breakdown issues
- All other duties assigned

Qualifications:
(The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Required Education & Experience:
- A high school graduate and five more years of maintenance experience
- A technical College degree and three more years of maintenance experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Good knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Some knowledge of Robots
- Some knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Some knowledge of Auto CAD
- Ability to understand module function in JIS (Just In Time) Manufacturing Environment
- Ability to draw concept layouts and write equipment specifications for purchasing facilities, jigs, workstations, line side racks and etc.
- Research and request quotations from suppliers (equipment, tool, fixtures, purchased components, etc.)
- Other tasks as assigned
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Educated and experienced of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for documentation
- 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD/CATIA) proficiency

Working Conditions:
- 50% in the office, 50% on the production floor or 70% in the office, 30% on the production floor
- Traversing production floor
- Use of protective equipment, devices, and clothing
- Ascending/descending ladders
- Lifting 40-50 lbs.
- Possible international travel to Headquarters
- Domestic travel to customers, suppliers, or other sites as needed
- Overtime and weekend work as needed
