The Technical Illustrator will collaborate with our team of talented and experienced technical writers, editors, and subject-matter experts to deliver manuals and other customer support content for all TCOM tactical radio and satellite communication products.If you're passionate about technology, excel at information design, and thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!Applicants are strongly encouraged to provide work samples or a link to an online portfolio.Essential Functions:Collaborate with technical writers to produce high-quality illustrations for manuals, and training materials.Utilize CAD drawings, actual equipment, and other data to develop clear, concise, and accurate visual representations of our products.Apply your expertise in illustration software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar to create vector graphics and 3D models.Ensure all technical illustrations meet company standards and comply with industry regulations.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience with Technical Illustration. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience with Technical Illustration. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience with Technical Illustration.Preferred Additional Skills:Military Communications experience and/or prior experience in a high-tech or defense industryProficiency in CorelDRAW, CAD, and 3D rendering toolsStrong understanding of engineering concepts and the ability to interpret technical documentsExperience developing technical documentation in accord with MIL StandardsFamiliarity with Adobe Technical Communication Suite toolsIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Washington State and New York State is $58,500 - $108,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
