We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Visual Production Specialist to join our dynamic team.The Specialist, Visual Production plays a key role in transforming Build-A-Bear retail spaces into dynamic and visually compelling environments. By collaborating and creating immersive and memorable experiences for our customers and vendors, this role helps ensure the expansion & success of our company's retail experience locations.Responsibilities:Assess product assortments and brand guidelines to determine the placement of merchandise within specialty/non-traditional stores, seasonal shops, partner-operated, and international locationsDevelop detailed planograms that outline the directed arrangement of merchandise, fixture priorities, and marketing signage to maximize visual appeal & facilitate customer navigationProduce floor set documentation and product placement for all store formats and conceptsProvide supporting tools, such as visual guides and checklists, to ensure efficient and accurate implementation of visual directionOffer support and guidance to field leaders to optimize visual merchandising executionMaintain Visual Standards ManualSupervise overall setup, use and presentation of BQ mock storeRequired Qualifications:Associate's degree in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Visual Communications or a related fieldBasic knowledge with Microsoft Office SuiteBasic knowledge of Adobe PhotoshopProficiency with Adobe InDesignExceptional written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:3+ years planogram creation, design and visual merchandising experience in the retail industryProficiency in Adobe PhotoshopProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteBehavioral Traits for Success:Enjoys being recognized for the quality of their workWillingness to work within established standards, guidelines, and proceduresDevelops strong job knowledge and competencyStrong commitment to tasks being completed correctly and on timeThrives in a structured environmentCommunication style is factual and sincereWillingness to follow established policies, processes, and proceduresEnjoys working at a somewhat faster-than-average paceWorking Environment:Typical office environment with climate control and sufficient lighting, ergonomic desk/chairsCorporate Office located St. Louis, MOLifting >25 poundsYour Performance Will Be Measured On:Decision-making, judgement, and executionAble to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise mannerDeadlines, Accuracy, and QualityVisual Merchandising & ProductionCross-functional Collaboration and Team SupportClear & open communication within all projectsFloor plan presentations & mock store presentationStakeholder Feedback
