About The Role - Specialist - Warehouse & Distribution (Minden, LA) The Specialist - Warehouse & Distribution position is a business-critical role between the Supply Chain and the Commercial & Operations teams ensuring an optimal supply of Inventory in conjunction with physical inventory controls. The position covers multiple sites based on both geographic and business demands. What you will be doing
  • Provide daily support to assigned sites ensuring optimal inventory coverage; assist with monthly inventory count processes and reconciliation.
  • Work with Supply Chain Management to ensure policies and procedures are followed and enforced with regards to Inventory Management best practices and License to Operate.
  • Assist Inventory Management team at implementing strategies to maintain inventory at levels that achieve service level and inventory turnover ratio objectives.
  • Act as liaison for Supply Chain and ensure that Trade Working Capital objectives are met.
  • Work as a partner with Commercial & Operations to address improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure all critical requirements are met that facilitate the Order to Invoicing process.
  • Schedule and chair monthly BRR meetings with sites addressing service issues, identifying opportunities and actively managing SLOB (Slow/Obsolete) inventory.
  • Oversee regular SLOBS reviews and action with Site Leaders and Commercial.
  • Participation in, and implementation of, process optimization strategies
  • Support company-wide Visions and Values
What you will bring
  • 3-5 years of relevant supply chain experience and or / equivalent education
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain technologies including ERP, data warehouse, planning, and logistics
  • Experience with Hazardous Materials
  • High integrity
  • Willingness and ability to travel when or if required.
  • Proven success in managing diverse work team in regards to training, redirection, motivation, and targeted goals

  • BS/ BA/ OA degrees or equivalent
  • SAP experience required

  • Full Time Salaried position
  • Annual Salary Range $80,000 - $90,000
  • Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
