As an Accessioner, you will be a vital contributor to our laboratory operations, responsible for efficiently and accurately processing and documenting specimens. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excellent teamwork skills. Responsibilities
  • Enter patient and specimen information accurately into the laboratory information system (LIS).
  • Answering incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Follow established protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Adhere to quality control and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Meet productivity targets and turnaround time expectations.
  • Verify and label specimens with appropriate identifiers.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of specimens.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Previous experience in data entry is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and protocols effectively.
  • Reliable and punctual with a substantial work ethic.
  • Adaptability in an ever-changing and growing start-up environment.
Ideal Start Date: October 8th, or the week before for training. Potential Available Schedules :
  • A. Tuesday to Saturday 0000 to 0830
  • B. Tuesday to Saturday 1500 to 2230
  • C. Tuesday to Saturday 0500 to 1330
  • D. Saturday to Wednesday 1500 to 2330
  • E. Tuesday to Saturday 0830 to 1700.
  • F. Sunday to Wednesday 2200 to 0830
  • G. Sunday to Thursday 2200 to 0630

Job Type:
  • Full-Time
Salary:
  • Starting pay range $17.75 to 19.50 per hour
10 pm to 5 am 8% differential pay for hourly positions starting Jan 1st, 2024. The starting range pay will be the same and the 8% will be added automatically to our payroll system. This differential pay does not have a compounding effect with other differential pay.Benefits
