Your positive attitude will shine here!* Team Collaboration: Show initiative and support your colleagues in completing departmental tasks.* Professional Growth: Participate in the orientation and training of new team members.Key Responsibilities:* Training and Support: Help train new laboratory employees and students, and perform related clerical duties.* Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations to handle biohazardous samples and disinfect work areas.* Quality Assurance: Complete quality forms for unacceptable specimens and resolve any specimen issues.* Specimen Management: Prepare, package, and send specimens to outside locations, and deliver them promptly to testing areas.* Sample Processing: Measure, aliquot, and distribute urine samples; separate serum and plasma from red blood cells by centrifugation.* Data Accuracy: Ensure patient identification and labeling are correct, and enter specimen collection and receive times into the computer.* Customer Service: Answer phone inquiries professionally, provide information on specimen collection and results, and transfer calls as needed.* Professional Interaction: Interact courteously with all customers and laboratory staff.* Initiative: Show initiative and offer assistance in completing departmental tasks.What We Offer:* Comprehensive Training: Learn and grow with our thorough training programs.* Supportive Team: Work with a team that values collaboration and mutual support.* Career Advancement: Opportunities for professional development and career growth.Join us and be a part of a team that values your contributions and supports your professional journey.
