Specimen Technician - AM/PT - Randstad : Job Details

This position reports to the Supervisor, Forensic Processing and is responsible for the routine daily sample processing of the Forensic Toxicology Processing Department. This individual is accountable for all specimen receipt, sorting, data entry and work within the forensic processing department. location: Lenexa, Kansas job type: Contract salary: $16.00 - 18.20 per hour work hours: 8 to 4 education: High School responsibilit[ \r\n\t. Has a preliminary but functional understanding of the QTN Lab Information System\r\n\t. Sort specimens by source (hair, oral fluid, urine, etc.) and work list\r\n\t. Completes Maxilog Data Entry\r\n\t. Understands and adheres to strict forensic practices\r\n\t. Capable of processing urine specimens for regulated and non-regulated testing independently\r\n\t. Adheres to company policies and procedures\r\n\t. Proficient with scanning/imaging all custody and control forms\r\n\t. Capable of discarding negative specimens\r\n\t.
