We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance to find housing, navigating licensure for each state, and being the liaison between you and the facility. We look forward to finding the right opportunity for you in your life.*Overview:** *Setting*: LTC/SNF, OP, School, and HH* *Total Pay Package: *Starting at$1800 per week, with _*a completion bonus up to $1500!*_* *Guarantee:* 40 hour weekly guarantee* *Schedule:* Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm- No weekends, holidays or call* *Start Date:* 05/09/2022* *Length*: 13 weeks* *Current Contracts Available:*o Albert Leao Wheaton School*Responsibilities:** Assess, diagnose and treat communication disorders such as speech, fluency, language, voice and swallowing disorders.* Develop, plan and implement a treatment plan that will remedy the issue the patient is presenting with.* Create personalized care plans for each patient, often working with other medical staff on an interdisciplinary team.* Educate and counsel patients and families on communication and swallowing disorders.* Research speech and communication disorders and develop new diagnostic procedures and devices.* Instruct and supervise communicative disorders assistants, students and other health care professionals.*Qualifications:** Doctorate or master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.* Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist* Valid driver's license* Must be able to pass a background check and pre-work screen physical examination* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Experience in skilled nursing and/or outpatient settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.*Benefits:** Health, Dental, Life, Short-Term Disability, and Vision insurance options* 401k with employer contribution* 6 paid holidays* Extensive Professional Development program including:o Unlimited CE courses through MedBridgeo Residency programs through Evidence in Motion with employer contributiono Financial assistance for specialty certificationso Mentorship program to support you no matter where you are*Why Work with Us? *Big Stone Staffing is a division of Big Stone Therapies, Inc. together we can bring top notch therapy services to rural communities.
