Responsibilities
  • Set up fixtures/tooling for the machines.
  • Write new programs or change programs for the machines for the development of new products / processes.
  • Troubleshoot problems with the machines to identify quality and productivity issues.
  • Operate machines for machining, balancing, and drilling.
  • Perform visual inspection and measurement process of incoming castings to verify their quality.
  • Perform preventative and non-preventative maintenance on the machines.
  • Handle waste materials from the processes.
  • Receive incoming packages and prepare and ship packages for shipment.
  • Provide support to sister shop in Belgium and Albion, MI.
  • Drives the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce.
  • Fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization.
  • Instills an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive manner.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate's Degree in MET or EET or equivalent work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum two (2) years' CNC or Robotics experience
