JOB SUMMARY: The individual in this role will be assisting the Corporate Sales department in all traditional and non-traditional initiatives. The individual reports to the Sponsorship Services Director.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work directly with the Director on fulfillment of all sponsorship agreements
  • Work in direct communication with sponsors and advertising partners on details of sponsorship and ways to enhance partnerships and build lasting relationships
  • Assist the Corporate Sales department with sales proposal preparation, hospitality event planning and servicing, collateral update and maintenance
  • Develop detailed recap reports in support of marketing and corporate sales efforts
  • Responsible for sending out event ticket offers to clients, receiving and processing orders, and arranging delivery of tickets
  • Works with other Texas Stars and H-E-B Center departments to assist in fulfilling needs of the corporate sales department
  • This position will work closely with the Sponsorship Services Director to manage all signage installation and maintenance
  • Attend corporate sales events, sponsor promotions, and Texas Stars home games
  • Assist in game night sponsorship activation for the Texas Stars Hockey Club
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management, Marketing or related field
  • 2 years previous experience in customer service, sponsorship sales and service or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Successful candidates have some experience in marketing and/or customer service, are innovative, self-starters, independent, and highly creative
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office; CRM proficiency helpful
  • Sense of urgency paired with excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and general public
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
Physical Demands and Working EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects and office tools, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
