Spool Checker - Trade Construction Company, LLC : Job Details

DescriptionOverview: The Spool Checker reviews pipe spool drawings against customer isometric and/or orthographic drawings. Responsibilities:

• Review job packages prior to checking spool drawings
• Check and review spool drawings for corrections
• Check materials on spool drawings to ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Create RFI's for project management
• Comply with all Company Core Safety Rules, policies and procedures.
• Report any unsafe conditions wherever they exist to the safety department, their supervisor, or the management of Trade Construction immediately.
• Report all incidents/accidents/injuries involving the health and wellbeing of any employee to management immediately.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting isometric & orthographic drawings
• Professional ability to work well with staff and client personnel
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven organizational skills
• 3-5 years piping experience is preferred
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines or business demands
