Sprinkler Service Technician - Pye-Barker Fire & Safety : Job Details

Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, and performing system checks and or repairs. Candidates who currently hold an RME-I license are highly encouraged to apply!*Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ** Conduct routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire suppression systems* Service and inspections of wet, dry and pre-action fire suppression systems* Install, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler equipment and systems in strict accordance with applicable codes and standards* Install or upgrade fire sprinklers in commercial and residential buildings* Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues and report results of work completed in an accurate, timely manner* Protect and maintain company equipment* Inspect and maintain company truck to proper operating standard* Operate warehouse equipment safely* Respond to emergency service calls as needed* Interact with customers in a mature and professional manner* Perform other duties assigned by management*Education & Qualifications: ** Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience of fire sprinkler experience* Current RME-I license preferred, but not required* Knowledge of both commercial and residential systems desired* Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently* Requires the ability to display knowledge of codes and regulations related to the work* Must have the ability to recognize and report deviations through inspection programs* Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy* Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required* Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record#Indeed*Benefits and Perks:** Excellent pay* Medical, dental, vision* Company paid life insurance* Company paid short term disability* 401K with employer match* Paid vacation and company holidays* Company vehicle (if job applicable)Pye Barker Fire and Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer
