Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Services Account Director with a proven track record in managing large multinational clients, particularly in the financial services and credit card industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and expanding client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services. This individual will be responsible for managing customer expectations, coordinating with offshore delivery teams, and ensuring that the overall service delivery is in alignment with the client's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Client Relationship:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a large multinational credit card client, understanding their strategic goals, challenges, and IT needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders within the customer organization.
  • Act as the client's advocate, ensuring that services are delivered as promised, meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or issues.
  • Business Development & Account Growth:

  • Identify new business opportunities within the existing client base and lead initiatives to expand the account.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other departments to develop and execute growth strategies, upselling and cross-selling additional IT services.
  • Develop and present customized proposals and business cases for new projects or service expansions.
  • Ensure revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Delivery Management:

  • Coordinate and oversee the seamless delivery of IT services to the client, ensuring alignment with service level agreements (SLAs) and project timelines.
  • Work closely with offshore delivery teams to manage resource allocation, project execution, and the successful delivery of IT solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, managing risks, and ensuring high-quality standards are upheld throughout the delivery process.
  • Ensure that the client's requirements are clearly understood and met by the delivery teams.
  • Strategic Planning & Advisory:

  • Work with clients to develop strategic IT roadmaps, ensuring alignment with their long-term business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on IT solutions, industry trends, and emerging technologies that could add value to the client's business.
  • Facilitate regular review meetings with client stakeholders to track progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team that includes project managers, technical specialists, and offshore teams.
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure that all aspects of service delivery are executed efficiently.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Oversee the financial health of the account, managing budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
  • Track and manage costs associated with service delivery, ensuring that the account remains within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including those related to financial services and data security.
  • Identify potential risks and mitigate them proactively, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Skills & Qualifications

    Experience:

  • Minimum 15-18 years of experience in managing IT services accounts, with at least 7-10 years in a senior leadership role working with large multinational clients, specifically in the credit card/financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in managing complex, high-value accounts with a focus on driving growth, relationship management, and successful project delivery.
  • Strong experience in managing offshore delivery teams and global operations.
  • Technical Expertise:

  • Solid understanding of IT services, infrastructure management, cloud computing, software development, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems and platforms used in the credit card and financial services industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide strategic and technical solutions.
  • Client Management:

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong ability to manage stakeholder expectations and align IT services with the client's business strategy.
  • Experience managing senior executives and decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams, including offshore resources.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Ability to drive business development initiatives to grow the account.
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related fields.
  • Relevant certifications in project management (PMP, Agile) and IT services (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.
