Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager - Dahl Consulting : Job Details

• Worksite Location: Plymouth, MN
• Compensation: $80,000-95,000 annually with a 10% bonus

What you'll do as the Accounting Manager:

• Generate and post month-end closing entries
• Supervise accounting functions including accounts payable and special billing
• Calculate and maintain monthly deferred revenue entries and reconciliations
• Supervise the preparation and reporting of sales and property tax returns
• Supervise sales tax and property tax audits
• Reconcile fixed asset additions and calculate monthly depreciation
• Prepare the information workbook that is used by our tax preparer to calculate apportionment by states
• Research regulations and apply for tax licenses
• Maintain rental fleet inventory at company branches and stock inventory at manufacturers' sites
• Perform stock inventory, rental fleet additions, and branch transfers for all modular spaces and steps

What you'll bring to the Accounting Manager role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a degree in Business with equivalent accounting experience
• 7+ years of Accounting experience,
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Database and or skills in analyzing and manipulating large amounts of data
• Experience with accounting software Microsoft Navision is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite with Advanced Excel Skills necessary and Power BI and Jet reporting skills desired
