Sr. Accountant - CornerStone Staffing : Job Details

15th November, 2024Position Overview:We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and cost analysis, ensuring compliance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in cost accounting, and the ability to collaborate across teams to improve financial processes. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure GAAP compliance
• Perform cost analysis and support sales tax filings
• Assist with audits and month-end closing
• Collaborate with Controller and CFO on process improvements
• Backup staff accountant and accounts payable as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Strong communication and analytical skills

Preferred:

• Auditing and manufacturing cost accounting experience
