The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. Join us on the journey to deliver an exciting concept of evolved banking.SUMMARY:Reporting to the AVP, Collections Operations, this position will support the operational needs of the Banks collections function, to include: controls execution and daily oversight of the outsourced Collections Agents.Ideal candidate is likely in, or has been in, the Loan Servicing, or Default Management space, with a lean toward unsecured debt. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administers timely delivery of KPI and KRI's for the team.
- Assists AVPs with developing and maintaining the Risk Control Self-Assessment.
- Executes all controls to mitigate risks and ensures compliance.
- Facilitates regular meetings with lines of business to remediate control failures and/or establish action plans.
- Ensures audit readiness.
- Develops and maintains all procedures and user guides for the supported functions.
- Becomes a Subject Matter Expert for the assigned functions.
- Monitors SLA's adherence.
- Works Bank Operations support and escalation tickets.
- Daily oversight of the Collections vendor.
- Administration of the vendor management program deliverables.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- College Degree preferred, or experience lieu of
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Loss Mitigation, Default Management, Collections, or Recoveries for Lending Products.
- Working knowledge of banking documentation, bank core systems, collections core systems, operations, and accounting.
- Superb organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Highly proficient PC skills including MS Excel and Word
- Must be able to plan and monitor activities according to priorities and multi-task.
- Ability to work independently within the scope of responsibilities for the position and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with FIS core banking helpful.
