Sr. Analytics Specialist - Radiant info systems : Job Details

As an Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing advanced quantitative models to improve operating efficiency, reduce cost, and increase revenue. You will have direct contact with business partners and participate in identifying business requirements, collecting and performing big data analysis, developing models, and generating reports to address business needs.Qualifications A graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in industrial engineering, statistics, operations research, or a related engineering and management discipline from an accredited University in the USStrong analytical abilities and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of predictive data mining techniquesExperience in big data analysis, developing, verification/validation, and deployment of quantitative modelsKnowledge of simulation software, e.g. AnyLogicExperience with statistical software/data mining tools, e.g. RExperience with SQL and relational databasesExperience with an object-oriented programming language, e.g. JavaAbility to communicate effectively through oral presentations and written reportsGood interpersonal skillsKnowledge of commercial optimization solvers, i.e. CPLEX, is a plusKnowledge of software development methodology is a plusCandidates with experience in the transportation industry are preferred.Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
