This is a contract to hire opportunity for a senior Business Analyst supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 BUSINESS CENTRAL for retail company with branch and warehouses selling consumer clothing and accessories/goods. Role - Sr. Business Analyst, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Type - Contract to Hire or Direct Hire (prefer Contract to Hire – 6 months) Salary - $100,000.00 To $120,000.00 annually Bonus- None Pay rate if on contract - $60hr - $65hr (DOE/Candidates need to expect conversion within the salary range provided) Location - Hybrid onsite 2 days a week in Ft. Worth (Candidates located outside of 76202 will have 10% travel) Other notes

    • Deep Business Central knowledge especially in Retail or Warehouse, Distribution can work too if they have a Warehouse.
    • Consultative work style where they can interface directly with business leaders to understand how to solve business issues.

  • Sr. Business Analyst, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Experienced Business Central Senior Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • This role is instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving system improvements, and ensuring seamless integration of Business Central across our operations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Travel 10% to various store locations.
  • Engage with business stakeholders in Finance, Retail, Operations, and Warehouse/Distribution to understand their needs and collect detailed business requirements.
  • Convert business requirements into Business Central solutions and processes.
  • Perform gap analysis to pinpoint areas where current system configuration falls short of business needs.
  • Create and document Business Central solutions that fulfill business requirements.
  • Set up and configure Business Central modules to enhance business processes.
  • Ensure that solutions are scalable, sustainable, and in line with industry best practices.
  • Liaise with IT and business team members to ensure successful deployment and integration of Business Central solutions.
  • Prepare project plans, schedules, and progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Conduct Business Central System Testing and Quality Assurance (including regression testing for upgrades).
  • Detect and address issues and defects during the testing phase.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to provide training for end-users and IT staff on Business Central features and best practices.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for Business Central-related challenges.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have 4 years of recent experience as a Business Systems Analyst with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Must have at least 6 years of total work experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Deep Configuration experience - need to understand how Business Central can be configured to solve business issues.
  • Experience in a Retail environment or Distribution environment - company that has warehouses, SKUs.
  • Experience with SQL is required (T-SQL is strongly preferred)
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Understanding of core financial processes like accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and financial reporting, especially in a Business Central context.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, business analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience with data management and relational databases.
  • Strong grasp of business processes and how they can be optimized using Business Central.
  • Ability to create training materials, guides, and documentation.
  • Experience with data migration strategies, data mapping, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Proficiency in developing reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of system upgrades or new features.
