Job Summary: As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing young children and providing them with the best possible start in life. You will work with children aged 0-5 years, planning and implementing activities that support their development across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Your creativity and enthusiasm will help to create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish. Key Responsibilities as an Early Years Practitioner: - Create a Safe and Stimulating Environment: Ensure a secure, welcoming, and engaging setting for children to explore and learn. - Implement EYFS Curriculum: Plan, observe, and assess activities in line with the EYFS framework to support children's learning and development. - Promote Positive Relationships: Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. - Individual Care and Attention: Cater to the individual needs of each child, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. - Effective Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress. - Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas, plan activities, and support each other's professional growth. - Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of each child's development and progress, and complete necessary paperwork. - Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of child protection and welfare at all times.
