The Senior Director will guide and optimize the operations, ensuring excellent HR support to over 20,000 employees spread across various business units and regions.What you will do:
  • In collaboration with the other Nutrien Business Solutions senior leaders, develop and implement a strategic vision for the HR Solution Center in alignment with Nutrien's broader organizational goals.
  • Oversee, lead, and manage the HR Solution Center team, encompassing HR Advisory, Payroll, Human Resources Information Systems, HR Projects, Global Service Desk for HR, IT and Finance.
  • Develop and execute HRSC business plan and budget.
  • Ensure delivery of exceptional HR support to employees and managers globally.
  • Foster an internal customer-oriented culture that provides reliable, timely, and effective services.
  • Partner with the HR Leadership Team and senior business leaders to manage strategic and organizational changes.
  • Support the transformation of Nutrien's HR operating model, business processes, and technology to become a world-class HR organization.
  • Continuously improve HR and employee experience, incorporating automation, AI, and data science.
  • Increase the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the Solution Center by leveraging technology and best practices.
  • Set strategic direction, anticipate key trends, and position functional support for future growth.
  • Improve interdependencies across HRSC, enhancing handoffs, information sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and mitigate risk by developing strategies that ensure Nutrien remains in compliance with all Federal, Provincial, and State legislative requirements pertaining to payroll, pension, benefits, and employment legislation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and alignment on HR initiatives.
  • Develop people through talent reviews, development and succession planning.What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a Shared Services or similar environment.
  • Human Resources related designation is preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing global HR operations and leading large, diverse teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HR technologies, systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors), and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong project management capabilities, especially handling large, global transformation projects.Salary Range: $140,300 - $260,600 annually. This range is estimated for Senior Director, HR Solution Center role in Loveland, Colorado.
