SR. DIRECTOR OF DISTRIBUTION (EAST) - Sonny's Enterprises LLC : Job Details

The SR Director of Distribution will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our distribution operations in the East, with a primary focus on efficient and effective management of parts within our warehouse facilities. The successful candidate will playa pivotal role in driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and ensuring the seamless flow of parts throughout the distribution network.

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize distribution operations and warehouse management processes, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives

Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of warehouse facilities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, receiving, shipping, and storage of parts

Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity, utilizing best practices and innovative solutions

Implement quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and reliability in parts management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and technology, to support operational objectives and maximize productivity

Develop KPIs and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of distribution operations, regularly monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions as needed

Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics, to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and support overall business objectives

Provide strong leadership and guidance to the distribution team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop staff to build a high-performing and motivated team

Identify potential risks and challenges within the distribution network, develop mitigation strategies, and implement measures to safeguard operations and mitigate disruptions

Other duties as assigned

Bachelors degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Proven track record of successful leadership in distribution operations and warehouse management, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in a senior management role

Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus

Up to 50% travel
