Purchasing & LogisticLocation: US-NY-Bronx Overview:Currently looking for a full time Sr. Director of Purchasing & Logistics to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for oversight of the Purchasing & Logistics Departments. Responsibilities:The Sr. Director of Purchasing & Logistics who will be reporting to the CFO, has overall responsibility for the procurement, purchasing, logistics and asset management functions in the organization. This position will oversee the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures in these areas. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree, Seven (7) years of progressive experience in procurement and purchasing, logistics, and asset management in a healthcare facility required. Three (3) years supervisory experience required. Experience preparing and administering budgets is required. Ability to add value by improving processes through the development of strong internal control procedures is essential to this position. Experience working in a unionized environment strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft required. Must be able to speak, write and read English.
