Job Description:
Type: 18-month contract
Location: United States, 100% remote
An ideal candidate will play a key role in design, development and optimization of Dynamics AX deployments as well as assisting in migration and modernization to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
Responsibilities:
Proven experience as a Dynamics AX engineer, architect, or similar roleWork with team members to ensure alignment of the ERP system with business processesCustomize ERP software to fulfill company requirementsIdentify system problems and troubleshoot solutionsUpdate system, applications, and functionalities as neededTrain employees on the use of ERP tools and systems or deliver and/or author technical trainingCreate and maintain system documentation and ERP process instructionsConduct regular system audits and testing to ensure optimal functionalityStrong understanding of performance tuning methodologiesExcellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong communication skills to effectively interact with key stakeholdersAdvanced Microsoft certifications preferredPrevious Consulting and/or customer-facing roleRequired Skill Set:
Enterprise level support and administration focused specifically with AX performance and tuning optimization, Dynamics AX Migration, on-premise and cloud, and Power AppsExpertise with all versions of Dynamics AX/F&OSolving performance problems, query tuning, and optimizationArchitectural experience for Dynamics AXDelivering and/or authoring technical trainingKnowledge of ERP software beyond Microsoft Dynamics AX (e.g., SAP, Oracle)Experience with system installation and troubleshootingUnderstanding of business operations and processesExperience training users on ERP systemsMandatory Technical Skills:
Performance Optimization and Tuning CapabilitiesBackup and recoveryEnsuring High availability and Disaster recoveryProcedural and troubleshooting skillsDynamics AX administration, best practices and health checksRequirements:
