Sr. Engineer – Battery Pack (Job HQ in Towson, MD or remote w/in USA),

Stanley Black & Decker seeks Sr. Engineer – Battery Pack (Job HQ in Towson, MD or remote w/in USA), to design and prototype innovative Li-Ion batteries. Design using 3D modeling techniques, releasing 2D detailed drawings, creating and managing BOM of product development cycle. Work with various disciplines inside the organization with a focus on platforming, platform future expansion and platform compatibility. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of experience in product development or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1 years of experience in product development. Demonstrated ability with CAD software (i.e. CATIA V5, Pro-E, SolidWorks); GD&T, tolerance stacks ups, Failure analysis; Design components, metallic components, working with various materials for manufacturability; Design of Experiments (DOE); Li-Ions and their cell geometries; prototype designs through product development; product development process from concept to production; product CTQs and how they should be utilize in product development.

A full range of Medical, Financial, and/or other Benefits, dependent on the position offered.

Salary: $91,374 to $123,500.
