05th January, 2025The CompanyThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a major conference and incentives agency. The company is looking for a Sr. Event Technology Specialist to join the agency on a fulltime basis. The company delivers meetings, incentives, virtual events, special events and marketing campaigns for corporate clients and Fortune 500 brands.The RoleThe Sr. Event Technology Specialist will work with the Events and Accounts team to research and implement the best digital and technology platforms for each event. The Sr. Event Technology Specialist will utilize their expertise in various event platforms and technologies to develop solutions from mobile apps to websites and registration platforms according to each client's needs. REMOTE ROLE.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Building and managing event websites and mobile apps, from platform preparation through to attendee management, process reports, registration and post event analysis
  • Acting as subject matter expert on event technology solutions for the Accounts and Events team, as well as guiding the client
  • Providing on-site technical support for all digital solutions and technologies for events
  • Building and testing event technology platforms to ensure quality control, solving user experience issues and ensuring they meet all requirements
  • Research, evaluate and work closely with technology vendors to ensure projects are implemented on time, within scope, and within budget using proven project management and development methodology.
  • Providing support to clients and ensuring their expectations are met
  • Learning and staying current with new event technologies, platforms and digital solutions within the events industry
This Job is Ideal for Someone who has
  • 5 years experience as a Event Technologist, Event Technology Manager, Web Developer or similar role for an events agency
  • Experience working with corporate and Fortune 500 brands
  • Project management experience in event technology across the spectrum of meetings and live, hybrid and virtual events
  • Proficiency in front-end web languages, e.g. HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Expertise in major event technology platforms, such as Cvent, Swoogo, Jifflenow, and similar platforms
  • Proven experience working with multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong Client focus with attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for events and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure agency environment
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proven experience managing event production budgets
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Flexible, dependable, detail orientated, innovative, motivated and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional events
  • A thorough understanding of permitting standards and procurement
  • Strong desire to work with a fun, creative and entrepreneurial team in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • The Candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed; as well as participate in overnight travel for events
  • Local and interstate travel may be required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000 + benefits annually, dependent on experience. The salary is based on a range of factors, including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, job-related qualifications, complexity of the role, market considerations, geographic location and region, and budgetary considerations.
