Position Details:Title: Sr. Field Service TechnicianLocation: Tacoma, WA **WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN 45 Minutes of Tacoma, WA**Shift: Days, typically M-F / OT paid for weekendsCompensation: $30– $50/hr. Your experience and input will be required to help us grow this company.Senior Field Service Technicians are responsible for providing preventative maintenance, warranty, and repair services on electrical systems at the customers' location. Your job tasks will include, but are not limited to:Delegating and overseeing all onsite work activityDaily JSA, lockout, and test sheet reviewAssisting others with high level technical tasks such as troubleshooting using wiring diagrams or electrical printsCommunication with the customer on any issues found as well as onsite progressWe are looking for proactive employees who want to take ownership of a team or project. We are growing our customer base in the Southeast, but we do travel all over the United States and this position requires significant travel. We do not place employees in a location for more than 4 weeks at a time (most jobs are between 1-3 weeks), and there are significant travel perks and flexibility in scheduling and vacation. This position is not your normal 9-5/40-hour work week.WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN 45 Minutes of Rockmart, GA.Requirements:3+ years experience with maintenance, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment rated at 480V or above.Expertise in working with switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, and associated electrical systems.Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations related to electrical maintenance/testing and NFPA guidelines.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals.Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving RecordAbility to pass a drug test at all timesAbility to pass background checks for government or private secure facilitiesPhysically fit enough to lift up to 50 lbs, carry equipment, kneel, climb, and walk long distances if needed.Basic computer skills that include email, Microsoft Excel and Word, Adobe Reader, SharePoint, etc.Familiarity with all types of hand toolsLeadership experiencePreferred Skills:Certifications in electrical safety and maintenanceNaval Nuclear Power TrainingManufacturing or Data Facility Maintenance TechnicianPower Generating Station TechnicianArmy Prime Power School TrainingMilitary ExperienceElectrical or Mechanical Engineering DegreeMaster Electrician's LicenseNETA Certificate (2 or higher)NICET Certificate (2 or higher)Familiarity with multiple types of electrical testing equipment and proceduresStrong problem-solving skills and a track record of successfully diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in a timely manner.
