Job DescriptionSenior Human Resource Generalist:Job SummaryWe are looking for a seasoned human resource professional to fill our Senior HR Generalist position. In this role,you take on a wide variety of tasks throughout the department, from talent acquisition to onboardingmanagement to employee relations management. The Generalist will also make sure that all of our employmentpolicies are in compliance with government regulations and conduct exit interviews when employees resign.Experience in other managerial roles from a manufacturing or productionsetting is helpful when supportingmanagers from other departments.Senior Human Resource Generalist Responsibilities: Recruit talented employees; Oversee onboarding efforts including orientations Administer FMLA/ADA process; intake of new cases, review case information with HR Manager, Issueapproval/denial forms, track FMLA hours, Assist employees with short or long term disability cases, track all time away Facilitate training classes for hourly or management groups Work cross departmentally to achieve goals Administers various employee benefit programs, such as groupinsurance, life, medical and dental, accident and disability insurance, and 401(k) investments and savings; providesinnovative options to benefit offerings; arranges and conducts employee information presentations andenrollments Maintains online employee benefits and payroll websites to provide up-to-date information to all employees Verifies the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintainsstatistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs. Resolves administrative problems with carrierrepresentatives Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency ofdepartment and services performedMaintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment Provides support to expatriates and global employees in regards to immigration and visa matters Support both hourly and salaried employees in all inquiries. Collaborate with other HR teammates to develop customer focused solutions and recommendations formanagement. Uphold our Code of Conduct while handling complex employee related matters with sensitivity and fairness. Assist with compensation administration and processing of payrollSenior Human Resource Generalist Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education andexperience required. (master's degree preferred) A minimum of 5 years of experience as HR Generalist that includes responsibility for compensation programs,benefits administration, administration of policies and procedures. Strong computer skills with experience in Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HRIS systems (ADP-WFNPreferred) and other applicable software. Excellent communication and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate plans into phased actions. Strong presentation skills to communicate across all levels of the organization. Must be hands-on; comfortable at operating in 'sleeves rolled up' manner. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to exercise good judgment and handle confidential information. Ability to compile and interpret HRIS reports and spreadsheets. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as salary, percentages, mean, median and averages. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Availability to work non standard schedule in order to support manufacturing operations on night shift orweekends.
