The impact you can have
The Senior Inbound Logistics Analyst will create dashboards, data models, and BI Tools to make status and problems more visible while driving actional improvements. They will be responsible for the creation and execution of a sustainable network design process to drive stability and reduce network costs. They complete all COL vendor Freight Studies to determine suggested freight adders for inventory evaluation as well as retailer pricing.

Major Activities/Accountabilities

Implement and execute sustainable inbound network design process to drive stability and reduce inbound freight costs and traffic lead time.

Develop metrics, KPIs and internal analytical tools to enable corporate traffic team to make better decisions

Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual freight studies accurately and on time and work with merchandising to complete “as needed” freight studies for pricing reviews or Prepaid vs Collect analysis.

Support Carrier Relations Manager in carrier scorecard reviews by using data to identify problems and suggested solutions to carrier performance issues.

Serve as project management role for new strategic initiatives of the traffic department.

Work to improve timeliness and accuracy of freight studies through process improvement and automation, as well as engaging with upstream and downstream stakeholders

Provide support with various operational system updates (Proship, BluJay, Appian, DMPS, SAP)

Identify and perform root cause analysis on high variance vendors from the monthly freight meetings

$86700 - $108500 annually
