The Impact You'll Make in this Role
Reports to: SVP, Investor Relations & Finance Communications
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Manager, Investor Relations to support and enhance the company's engagement with the investment community. This role will focus on analyzing financial, industry, and competitive trends to inform internal decision-making and external finance communications.
The Senior Manager, Investor Relations will collaborate closely across the Investor Relations team, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to assess financial results, develop investor messaging, and provide insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial analysis, market dynamics, and the ability to synthesize complex information for internal and external audiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Analysis and Reporting
· Partner with Finance and Investor Relations to analyze quarterly financial results, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business trends.
· Assess the company's performance against guidance and market expectations, providing insights to refine messaging for investors.
· Support the development of financial projections and scenario analyses to anticipate market reactions and identify risks and opportunities.
Industry and Competitive Analysis
· Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor performance, and macroeconomic factors affecting the company and its sector.
· Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership and other internal stakeholders on competitive positioning and industry dynamics.
· Maintain a library of peer benchmarking data and comparative financial analyses to inform strategy and investor messaging.

Reporting and Analysis
· Track and analyze equity research reports from sell-side analysts, summarizing key themes, sentiment, and recommendations for an executive audience.
· Identify and highlight potential issues or opportunities based on analyst feedback and market commentary.
Investor Communications
· Collaborate with the IR team to develop high-quality communication materials, including earnings scripts, investor presentations, Q&A documents, and press releases.
· Assist in preparing senior executives for earnings calls, investor meetings, and industry conferences, providing data-driven insights and messaging recommendations.
· Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial and operational data to investors.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Build and maintain strong relationships with analysts, institutional investors, and other members of the financial community.
· Participate in investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows as needed, serving as a knowledgeable representative of the company's financial and strategic position.
Internal Collaboration and Advisory
· Collaborate with teams across Finance, Strategy, and Corporate Communications to ensure consistency and accuracy in external messaging.
· Provide strategic advice to leadership on market perceptions, investor sentiment, and potential risks or opportunities.
· Act as a key liaison between external stakeholders and internal teams to ensure alignment of priorities and objectives.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field and 10 years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, equity research, or a related discipline
OR
High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and 14 years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, equity research, or a related discipline
Experience in a publicly traded company or agency supporting public company clients.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
MBA or CFA designation preferred..
Strong knowledge of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and market dynamics.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting materials for investor and executive audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in financial modeling and tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms.
