The Senior Manager of Operations will be positioned to be a vital part of the team and will be a leader within the department, within their peer group and in the organization. The ideal candidate for this position will have daily duties of stadium maintenance, building and some turf maintenance, other operational duties as assigned by management. The eligible candidate will service and work with a diverse group of important clients and contacts at all levels. Independent judgment and a high level of communication is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload. This position will report to the Senior Director of Toyota Field and Star Soccer Complex and serves to support the complex and the stadium. What You'll Do:
- Directs, supervises and schedules all aspects of operations, including building, technical services, custodial services
- Coordinates the operations activities with other departments and event related staff to assure facility readiness and smooth operations of events
- Authorizes the requisition of equipment and supplies within budget guidelines
- Investigates, analyzes and resolves all operation and maintenance problems and complains
- Develops and implements preventative maintenance schedules for both facilities
- Coordinates and oversees special projects such as construction, remodeling to assure compliance with contracts and safety requirements
- Responsible to for compliance with all Federal, State and County Codes as related to the general operations of the facilities
- Works with Sr. Director in setting personal, direct reports and departmental goals. Lead intradepartmental meetings to ensure goals are met as well as feedback is solicited for improvement.
- Manage operations budget codes as identified by senior leadership.

Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business, facility management, event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field or minimum of (3-5) years of experience in event management within an arena, convention center, stadium or other public assembly facility setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; work ethic and strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal oversight, organize and prioritize and to promptly react to difficult situations using judgment and decision-making skills.
- Skilled trade experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining engagement as a part of the team, assisting departmental peers, direct reports, or managers as needed.
- Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have the ability to navigate and be physically present at events held both inside and outside of Toyota Field during all seasons of the year and possible extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time in an arena/stadium setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to operate equipment such as light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, boom lifts, bobcat, scrubbing machines or other light power-driven equipment
- Ability to use/operate typical maintenance hand tools and power tools on a regular basis, for long periods of time
- Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
- This role is based in San Antonio-100% of the work performed onsite
