BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Data and Reporting Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team that provides complex data and reporting for Sales and Marketing Org. You will be responsible for creating and producing forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, and other deliverables to provide valuable insights. These insights will help determine operational impact, identify trends, and uncover opportunities. You will pull data and analyze it using SQL, Alteryx, and reporting tools such as Tableau. You will also use software applications such as Word, Excel, Power Pivots (DAX), and PowerPoint.

In this role, you will need to have a thorough understanding of data analysis and methodology. Your expertise in data analysis will be crucial in ensuring accurate and insightful reporting, enabling informed decision-making and effective resource optimization within the organization.

WHAT OUR DATA AND REPORTING SENIOR MANAGERS ENJOY MOST

  • Managing a team responsible for reporting and analyzing various data.
  • Proactively identifying areas of opportunity and/or improvement based on trends in the data and using these insights to inform new products and/or operational improvements.
  • Managing high visibility projects to identify and resolve issues of strategic importance to the organization. Regularly interfacing with senior management to produce timely and valuable results.
  • Conducting complex data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions.
  • Capturing, developing, and documenting data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements.
  • Integrating data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements.
  • Creating and producing forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
  • Interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
  • Developing reports and deliverables for upper management and communicating with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Identifying and defining data quality improvements.
  • Creating and maintaining report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports, and other end-user information portals or resources.
  • Ensuring compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis.
  • Creating specifications for reports based on business requests.
  • Identifying opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performance and utilizing knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Reviewing accuracy of all data, results, and conclusions of the team, coaching team members to reach high data standards.
  • Performing other duties as requested.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Management experience - 3+ years
  • Data analysis and reporting or related experience - 7+ years
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations
  • Expert knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, Power Pivots (DAX), PowerPoint
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to make decisions and work collaboratively with others to solve problems
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
  • Intermediate level knowledge of SQL, Alteryx & Smartsheet
