Job Title: Sr. Murex Business Analyst Job Location: New York City, NY (onsite) Contract length: 12+months Responsibilities:
  • Strong analysis experience in Murex stack - Simulation views, Curve construction, Real-time Risk & PnL, Trade booking, STP, Reporting and Regulatory.
  • Front-office experience involving FX derivatives.
  • Experience in using SQL on ORACLE.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and ability to interact with Trading.
Skills Must have
  • Very Strong product knowledge in FXD (IRD, CRD, EQD... would be a plus)
  • Product implementation experience
  • Very Strong understanding of the P&L concept overall and its components
  • Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
  • Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally
  • Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues
Must:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience as Senior Murex BA.
  • Experience on Murex with FO functionalities/module
  • experience in financial markets
  • Must have a strong personality, logical and analytical skills
  • Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills
Nice to have
  • BS or higher degree in Finance, Mathematics or equivalent

  • Market Data management
  • Knowledge of SQL (Oracle and Sybase) and Unix commands is a plus
  • Good understanding of Market Risk Management (including VaR, stress tests, and back-testing)
