Job Description
A large client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Sr Network Engineer. This hybrid role requires you to be onsite in Dublin two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). You will be part of a team responsible for both business-as-usual operations and project builds.
Responsibilities:
Run Operations (70%): Maintain and support the network infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Life Cycle Management: Stay on top of the life cycle of the equipment being used.
Project and Build (30%): Participate in the planning and execution of network projects.
On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation once a month for a week, with secondary on-call duties once a week.
Lead and mentor: Knowledge share and mentor Jr engineers on the team.
This position is targeting an hourly rate of $45-$65 an hour

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
5+ year of experience working as a network engineer
Experience with Cisco FTD
Experience working with Vendors
Proficiency with any ticketing system
o Service now is their system
At least one relevant network certification
o (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, ETC)
Strong understanding of change management processes, including the ability to write and manage change plans and CAB (Change Advisory Board) processes
Leadership abilities and a desire to motivate and mentor junior team members Pluses
Technical knowledge of Marci SD-WAN
Data center experience null
