Position: Xpedition ECAD Layout Designer (Contract)Location: USA - Telework/RemoteCompensation: Up to $60.00 per hourDue to the nature of work performed at this facility and in compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), U.S. citizenship is required for this position. Please note that we do not engage with third-party vendors for recruitment.GeoLogics is seeking a Sr. Advanced Electrical Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) Designer to join our team. This is a remote opportunity offering the chance to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology supporting critical national defense services. As a member of our team, you'll work closely with esteemed clients to create innovative solutions that enable high-stakes national security missions.In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and manage CAD software solutions, specifically tailored to meet the needs of the defense and manufacturing sectors. In addition to a competitive salary and comprehensive health and personal benefits, you will thrive in a flexible work environment where contributions are both recognized and rewarded.The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the design and documentation of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), with a focus on digital signal processing, high-frequency radio frequency designs, and expertise in routing principles for high-speed designs and interference mitigation. Additional requirements include:
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8 years of related experience (or 6 years with a Master's)
  • Experience with Xpedition VX2.13 or higher
  • Multi-layer experience, up to 20 layers
  • Knowledge of PCB design and fabrication details
  • Experience working in an Integrated Product Team environment
  • Extensive experience in design, drafting, detailing, and packaging of PCB board layout designs, including but not limited to symbol, cell, and footprint generation, PCB layout, PCB electronic packaging, and PCB drawing generation
  • Experience troubleshooting design data and configuration problems with outside vendors
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous jobs simultaneously
  • U.S. Citizenship
