Your opportunity:As a Sr. Production Planner, you will optimize strategies in support of operational excellence and provide coordination of campus leadership within Greenheck Group. In addition to this you will, evaluate manpower and production optimization opportunities to leverage overall capacity through effective scheduling, production planning, and labor management strategies.What you'll be doing:
  • Responsible for guiding business units in the development of sales and operations plans (S&OP) and manpower plans that effectively meet multiple business unit strategies.
  • Manage the consolidated campus S&OP and manpower planning processes. Review and monitor schedule attainment, customer service, performance against plan, inventory strategy, and supply plans to meet demand and resource implications, while supporting individual business unit scheduling processes.
  • Develop and implement capacity management strategies with BU leaders that capitalize on the advantages of a shared campus workforce with multiple plant locales.
  • Lead weekly manpower planning meetings with plant managers and recruiting teams to review and adjust manpower and production plans and strategy.
  • Direct placement of new team members while ensuring plans align with needs in terms of labor management, speed to market lead times, and customer service targets.
  • Update and maintain reporting regarding key performance indicators to ensure alignment between business unit leaders, logistics/warehouse, materials management, manpower planning, and shared services.
  • Coordinate monthly scheduling network to drive consistency, best practice sharing, and networking to our Greenheck Group scheduler team.
  • Lead the growth and expansion of operations acumen through the facilitation of EPPIC Training (efficiency, production planning, inventory and control).
What you should have:
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • 4 Year / bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operation Research or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or APICS Certified Supply chain Professional (CSCP) a plus.
  • Lean or Green Belt Six Sigma certification is a plus.
