About the Role

We are looking for Senior Project Manager to support the McCann Worldgroup Corporate Communications team. This role will provide strategic project management support across the MW network, working closely with creative, communications, and production teams in New York and globally. You will play a key role in steering complex projects to success, guiding cross-functional teams through planning and execution. Key responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for collaborating with senior stakeholders and diverse teams. You will manage risks, drive innovative solutions, and maintain high project delivery standards in a dynamic global environment.

What You'll Do As the Senior Project Manager, you will:

Design Operations

• Collaborate with the Design Director to develop efficient design processes and workflows for timely project delivery.

• Manage project status, priorities, and resource allocation with oversight from the Design Director.

• Work with the MW global team to identify design needs and map resources to gain foresight into bandwidth.

• Engage additional resources for overflow work and track offshore resource estimates and budgets.

• Consult on rebrand rollouts to inform asset development and transition touchpoints.

Project Management of High-Priority Initiatives

• Point person for 2-3 industry tentpole initiatives annually

• Consolidate individual plans from workstream owners into a single master plan with defined deliverables and timelines.

• Lead weekly status meetings with workstream owners to track project progress.

• Collaborate with team members to mitigate risks and escalate issues as needed.

• Support budget tracking for key initiatives alongside budget owners.

• Ensure event production preparations align with project plans.

• Manage design resources and workflow.

• Support content development and design for programming and social media.

Comms Operations

• Contribute to Weekly Communications Status and biweekly Global Communications Status meetings, providing updates on design priorities and projects.

• Participate in editorial council and planning meetings to align design resources.

What You'll Need To succeed in this role, you should have:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or a related field; a Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.

• 5-7 years of project management experience in a creative, marketing, or communications environment.

• Proven track record managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, ideally in a global or multi-disciplinary setting.

• Strong expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.

• Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and risk management.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.

• Proven success in collaborating with senior leadership to define project goals and deliverables.

• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.

• Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior executives.

• Familiarity with design and creative tools is advantageous.

• Ability to develop strategic project plans that align with organizational goals.

• Experience in a fast-paced environment with adaptability to changing priorities.

Salary Range: 95k - 110k
