Sr. Project Manager or Project Manager, Technical AssistanceAlbany, NYFusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Sr. Project Manager or Project Manager, Technical Assistance, to join our client in leading the nation in the fight on global climate change and the transition to a clean-energy powered economy.This is a FT Direct Hire position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead NYSERDA's engagement with school bus operators and engineering firms to offer technical assistance and fleet electrification planning services to school bus operators statewideActively manage projects with engineering firms developing individualized fleet electrification plans for school bus fleetsProvide guidance and oversight to other team members managing school bus fleet electrification plan projectsStay apprised of the latest technical and market developments around ESBs to inform NYSERDA's technical assistance programCultivate and maintain strategic relationships with ESB market stakeholders including industry participants, school districts, and electric utilitiesIdentify and pursue opportunities for program improvement, including ways NYSERDA can better address equity in transportationAbility to perform all managerial and supervisory responsibilities with demonstrated experience fostering respect, diversity, equity and inclusion across the workforce.Minimum QualificationsSenior Project Manager- Minimum experience of Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant experienceProject Manager- Minimum experience of Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated record of success managing projects, preferably in the clean transportation or clean energy spaceSubject matter expertise in transportation electrification, with a preference for a technical understanding of EVs and/or electric utility operations and a passion for issues related to clean transportation and equityDemonstrated experience supervising contractors and interacting with senior leadership in one's own organization and in other organizationsDemonstrated ability to independently and simultaneously manage a broad portfolio of projects, including setting workplans, managing budgets, and overseeing internal and consultant work productsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with a broad spectrum of both public and private sector stakeholdersA strong understanding of the technical workings of zero-emission vehicles and chargingProficiency with MS Office Suite required; familiarity with Salesforce preferredProject Manager- Master's/ Advanced degree and 6 years of relevant experienceProject Manager- Master's/ Advanced degree and 4 years of relevant experienceSalary$76- $141kFusco Personnel takes great pride in successfully matching talent and culture for our valued clients.
