ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Achieving the organizations overall strategic goals and contributing to the revenue and profitability goals of our logistics service offering.
  • Develop and implement regional strategies to achieve business objectives, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional goals with company-wide initiatives.
  • Evaluates the success of the logistics service offering and determines initiatives, process improvements, and technology enhancements to drive continuous improvement.Reviews and monitors internal performance at our logistics sites and for our top clients to drive improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards to maintain high levels of operational performance.
  • Is a subject matter expert providing leadership and guidance to the field, to address questions and issues in regard to business and technical areas.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop regional operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adequate staffing, training, and succession planning within regional operations.
  • Provide operational insights and solutions during client proposals and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with account management teams to develop and maintain strong client relationships and expand service offerings.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by optimizing operations, managing budgets, and controlling costs.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify opportunities and risks, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure all operations comply with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety, implementing best practices to minimize risks and incidents.
  • Other duties as assigned
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills to inspire and drive performance across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and data analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Project Management experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-site contract logistics operations for a 3PL organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and operational P&L accountability.
