About the job
As a Senior Robotics Integration Engineer, you'll play a key role in bridging AI-driven automation with real-world industrial systems. You'll work with fieldbus protocols, PLCs, and industrial control frameworks to enable seamless robotic operations in manufacturing, logistics, and other high-impact industries. You'll take part in leading and mentoring junior engineers as we grow, drive innovation at the forefront of robotics integration, and develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop software for and optimize fieldbus systems (e.g. EtherCat, Profibus, Modbus) to interface modern AI and programming solutions with classical PLC controllers.
- Lead and manage deployment projects of our solution.
- Mentor junior engineers and take part in the operationalization of our solution.
- Design, implement, and generalize industrial control systems for robotic integration.
- Collaborate with an international team of experienced professionals to develop and deploy our solutions on real-world industrial challenges.
Requirements
- Play a key role in developing and deploying industrial robotics and automation solutions for customers.
- Experience managing projects deploying robotics and automation solutions involving fieldbus programming, PLC systems, and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of industrial control frameworks and protocols.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python.
- Understanding of modern optimal control techniques and neural network based control architectures
- Porficient in robot safety systems and hands-on experience of how an industrial robot cell comes together
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, international team.
